What happened to the 'Bisa' group?

Before K Dei became a household name, he was part of a music group called Bisa hence his name Bisa K Dei. K Dei since then has been using the Bisa tag but he is the only artiste doing things alone now. The name BISA which in Twi literally means 'ask,' is an acronym for Boys In Serious Action.
The group had K Dei (Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah) and his counterpart Yoshua. Bisa who has done sound tracks for movie producers such as A.A Productions, Paul Gee, Miracle Films and Pat Thomas got into the limelight with the release of the Azonto Ghost sound track which became a smash hit in the country. Now that K Dei has gone solo and the Bisa group wasn't a formidable name before he became popular, one wonders why he chose to maintain the group name Bisa.
The truth is that it is better they split before becoming popular because just as I always say, it is very dangerous to form music groups. With benefit of hindsight, most music groups the world over don't last for long. Even in our country, most of the groups we have had are no more.
Honestly, if you want to form a music group, you need to know why you are in the group and what you seek to achieve. You also have to know that, like any relationship, the group can collapse so that in the event that there is a break up or break away, you always have something profitable to do with your life but not be surprised.
Bisa K Dei whose latest song 'Odo Carpenter' is topping chart in the country is working hard and I know he is going to make great strides with his music career. But wherever his 'Bisa' counterpart Yoshua may find himself, I wish him all the best.
