Veteran highlife musician, AB Crentsil, has for many years thrilled lovers of highlife music with his songs and he is likely to do same when he performs at the Internet Carnival in Cape Coast on Saturday, September 6.
The carnival, being organised by telecommunication company, MTN, forms part of activities marking this year’s Oguaa Fetu Afahye.
AB’s contribution to highlife music was acknowledged when he was honoured at the Legends and Legacy Ball in December last year. He is sure to rock the carnival with popular songs from his repertoire such as Anyen, Yewo Adze Oye, Egya Noah, Juliana, among others
The festival which begins on Friday, September 5 and ends on Sunday, September 7, will have many MTN ambassadors on the streets to help solve all data/internet problems of their customers at no cost.
According to an official of MTN, there will be a MTN Village which will serve as a service hub for consumers as well as a recreational centre that will see many DJs play on rotation for the three days.
The MTN Village will host the Akwaaba Jam tomorrow to welcome the indigenes as well as others who will join in the celebration. There will be a last jam at the MTN Village to climax the festival celebration on Sunday.
